Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Laive Health. Laive Health is an information tool. You must be 18 or over to use it. You are responsible for the values you enter and for keeping your account secure.
1. Acceptance Of These Terms
By creating an account or using Laive Health, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or over to use Laive Health. By using the service you confirm that you are 18 or over. Laive Health is not intended for anyone under 18.
3. Information Tool
This is an information tool, not medical advice. The ranges shown are descriptive associations from population-level evidence, not personalised clinical targets. Discuss any abnormal or borderline result with a registered clinician.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Laive Health only for its intended purpose and only for your own data. You agree not to:
- enter data on behalf of another person without their knowledge and consent
- attempt to access another user's account or data
- attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse engineer the service
- use automated means to extract data from the service
- use the service in any unlawful way
Laive Health applies a limit of 20 tests per user per day. This limit supports fair and secure use.
5. Accounts
You create an account using your email address and a one-time passcode. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure, since this controls access to your account.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the values you enter. Laive Health scores the data you provide. Inaccurate entries produce inaccurate scores.
6. Subscriptions And Billing
Laive Health is free to use during the beta. Paid subscriptions are planned, but payments are not part of this version of the product.
Pricing, billing, cancellation, and refund terms will be added before any paid subscription launches.
7. Intellectual Property
Laive Health, including its software, design, scoring methodology, content, and branding, is owned by the Laive Health project owner or its licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
You may use Laive Health for your own personal use. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute any part of the service.
The blood test data you enter remains yours. By entering it, you grant the permission needed to store and process it so the service can function, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation Of Liability
Laive Health is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, the Laive Health project owner does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Laive Health project owner is not liable for any decision you make based on the service, or for any loss arising from your use of it.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Termination
You may stop using Laive Health at any time. Account deletion is planned, and until it is live you can ask for account deletion through the contact channel that gave you access to Laive Health.
You can also make a manual delete-my-data request at any time during beta. The Privacy Policy explains what this covers.
Access may be suspended or ended if you breach these terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, or if the service is discontinued. Where reasonable, notice will be given.
10. Changes To These Terms
These terms may be updated as the product develops, for example when paid subscriptions launch. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Continued use of Laive Health after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
